What kind of infrastructure do I need in my company?

You need standard computer(s) and a reasonably good internet connection. No servers, no firewalls, no hassle.

What kind of computer do I need?

A modern computer running either Windows XP or newer, or a Mac running Snow Leopard or newer.

What kind of browser is supported?

The latest version of the following browsers for Windows PC: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome. On Mac: Firefox or Safari.

What kind of software is used?

The main client used is SuperOffice Sales & Marketing (7.web). This is made available in a browser.

The administration client for the solution is available in a Citrix session. The Admin client also provides access to MS Office Templates.

The software is not new, but well established and proven. SuperOffice CRM has been on the market for more than 20 years and are already used by hundreds of thousands users. Visit www.superoffice.com for more information about our on-premise solutions.

How is my data secured?

Your data is stored in our ISO Certified hosting centre.

Back-up of data takes place every 30 minutes and back-up data are stored on discs at a separate location, so your data are always backed-up and safe.

Can I create my own data fields?

To define your own User Defined Fields, you need the Professional edition.

For both the Standard and Professional edition, you can create your own list items, interest check boxes and templates that will allow your individual configuration to suit your business.

Can I upgrade from Standard to Professional?

Yes, this is possible.

Note that information or features available in the Professional edition will be lost if you choose to downgrade from Professional to the Standard edition.

All users have to be on the same edition at any one time.

What happens to my data if I terminate?

SuperOffice store your data for 30 days after you terminate. After this time the data is removed.

During this period you may retrieve your data and documents. Contact your sales representative to find out more.

What are the subscription terms?

You sign up for 3 months, with an automatic renewal if the agreement is not terminated.

Termination must be made within 60 days before the next subscription period. The full details of the subscription and payment terms are outlined in the Online commercial agreement.

I want additional training. Is this available?

Professional training courses from basic to advanced are available through SuperOffice and our partner network.

You may attend a standard class-room course or arrange a customised training courses for your company. Contact us to learn more and find your local SuperOffice partner.

Who do I contact for various support issues?

Your embedded web-based support link is available from your Online solution in the Help menu section.

The link via Help will take you to our support portal http://cs.superoffice.com Once logged in to our Support Centre you may browse the FAQ or contact our support centre by registering your requests directly. You can also track and add comments to your questions via the support portal.

I am a SuperOffice CRM user already. Can I convert to Online?

Yes, this is possible.

You may move your existing solution to our Online platform, keeping your data and your documents. Payable services to do this migration will apply. 

Note that customisable integrations or modules may not be transferred. Contact your sales representative to find out more.

How do I pay for my subscription?

Your company are invoiced in advance of every 3 months subscription period.

This means that you will receive the first invoice for the first 3 months subscription period within the first month of your subscription. Then next invoice follows shortly thereafter, covering the following 3 month subscription period.  

Subsequent invoices are therefore always 3 months in advance, ensuring the 
flexibility you need to decrease or increase the number of users in time before the next subscription period.

I use Mac, can I use SuperOffice CRM Online?

Yes, many of our subscribers use Mac.

You may also have a mixed office with some users on Mac and som on PC.

SuperOffice CRM Online work the same on Mac and PC with the exception of how you create and store documents and how you archive emails. A user on Mac will do this differently than a user on PC - but the end result will be the same: both users have access to easily create and store new emails or documents ensuring a complete history on your customers.

What is a good enough Internet connection?

How good your internet connection is varies on many factors.

In general, we recommend broadband as minimum, however, we know of users that use a mobile connection on the road to their satisfaction too.  

If you are a heavy user of internet applications, including things like live streaming of video, music, and other applications, you need to consider  this total picture when deciding what level of internet subscription is good enough for you. 

The minimum bandwith recommended is 1Mbit/sec. Highest recommended latency (ping) is less than 100ms.

Can I store mail if I use Gmail or Notes with CRM Online?

Yes. The SuperOffice built-in email client can also connect to any IMAP based email-server.

What does the set up service include?

To get you started in the best way possible, we include a 2 hour session with an advisor in our set up fee.

The advisor will provide you with an overview on how to administrate your solution and how to take advantage of some of the powerful features available to you. 

For those wanting even more help and advice, this session can be expanded to include a range of  professional services.

Can I configure the solution myself?

Yes, you can configure your own lists and templates to suit your needs. If you use the Professional edition, you may configure even more.

There is a full administrative client where you administer and configure your lists, users, user-levels, templates (fields) and preferences. 

A standard general configuration is ready for you to use from day 1, which you can then amend as you see fit at any time.

I have forgotten my password

If you are a user and have forgotten your password, then contact your company's administrator who can help.

If you are the administrator and have forgotten your password to the Administrator tools, then you need to complete this form. After your name and details have been validated your new password will be sent to you.

Note that no password is stored by us and all passwords created will need to be changed by you after you log-in the first time.

I am a new Administrator for my company

If your company changes Administrator, you need to inform

us by completing this form. We need to validate your details before issuing a new administrator password to ensure your company's security. 

Once this is validated, you will receive your credentials and can log-in as your company's new administrator in the administrator modul.

Note that no password is stored by us and all passwords created will need to be changed by you after you log-in the first time.

SuperOffice Learning Online is ideal to support your learning and as a reference guide.

This training is based on a combination of video, images, spoken word and text, and deals with the core functionality and processes in SuperOffice CRM, such as companies and contacts, the diary, e-mail, projects, selections and reports. SuperOffice Learning Online can be performed as a complete stand-alone course or as on-going, on-the-job training. The training is interactive and invites responses and input from the user.
