Oslo, 20 April 2026 - The software company SuperOffice today announces that Bjørn Røsten has taken over as Group CEO, effective 1 4 April 2026.
Røsten succeeds Lars Engbork, who has decided to step down to take on a group CEO role at another international company outside of the CRM industry.
The appointment marks an exciting next chapter for the Norwegian software company, which for more than 35 years has developed solutions for small and medium-sized companies in Europe.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Bjørn Røsten to SuperOffice. With his experience in building and scaling software companies internationally, combined with a clear people-centered leadership style, he is well equipped to strengthen our market position and accelerate further growth,” says Klaus Holse, Chairman of the Board.
SuperOffice has experienced strong growth in recent years and in 2025 increased its annual recurring revenue (ARR) by 20 percent compared to the previous year. The growth is driven by increasing demand for the company's CRM solutions in the SMB market and strategic acquisitions that strengthen the company's position in the European market.
A European alternative
CRM is playing an increasingly important role for companies that want to build long-term customer relationships and increase productivity in a more demanding economic reality.
“It’s an honor to lead SuperOffice in such an exciting phase of the company's development. CRM is one of the most important tools companies have to create growth and long-term value. Together, we have a clear opportunity to help thousands of companies strengthen their customer work and grow sustainably – even at a time characterized by economic uncertainty," says Røsten.
At the same time, he points to a major technological shift in Europe.
“SuperOffice is a European alternative in a market dominated by American players. For over 35 years, we have been developing software for small and medium-size businesses. Now we're using AI to make organizations drive sales, marketing and customer service more effectively - without removing the human element in customer engagement. In a time of increasing focus on digital sovereignty and data security, we believe that Europe needs strong software companies," says Røsten.
SuperOffice’s CRM platform is integrated with artificial intelligence, helping to automate time-consuming tasks and provide better insight into customer data, so that companies can spend more time on relationship building and value creation.
